The roots of Nawa-e‑Zeest trace back to 2009, when Sheikh Abdullah International Academy (SAIA) — an early professional development initiative — operated in Islamabad, Pakistan. Through structured workshops and youth programs, SAIA established foundations in disciplined engagement, intellectual development, and educational rigor. That initial chapter concluded during a period of institutional transition and international relocation.
In 2018, leadership consolidation in Burnaby, British Columbia, positioned the institutional vision for long-term transnational growth and community engagement. These formative experiences laid the groundwork for the institution’s reemergence and structured expansion abroad.
In 2025, Sheikh Abdullah International (SAI) was formally registered as a leadership institute and consultancy operating across Canada and the United Kingdom. Later that year, Nawa-e‑Zeest was established as SAI’s community initiative — focused on Tarbiyah, language education, cultural preservation, and service-oriented reinvestment.
